“We read the reviews and were intrigued. We stayed in winter, and it is cold in Bothwell. It would have been much more inviting if the hosts had the heater running prior to our arrival, but once the property warmed up after a few minutes the shock of how cold it was faded away. We stayed in the 1837 cottage. The accommodation is rustic, eclectically furnished and decorated, and gives an appreciation of life in times gone by. “Beautiful location, we sat and watched the southern lights from the verandah. Short drive to Cockle creek Good fishing around the corner off the rocky point as well as off the jetty. Would definitely recommend. ”
