“Check in was easy, the clerk was very helpful. Though near the highway, I heard no traffic noise. My room was clean and quiet, and it did not smell like smoke or cleaning solution. Standard continental breakfast that included yogurt, hard boiled eggs, bagels, cereal, waffles. Nice dining area. Easy drive to downtown Detroit from here. Will stay here again when in the area. ”

The front desk person is amazing. Didn’t get her name, but I checked in on 7/9. Super personable. I needed ice and she found a bag in the freezer. You can buy an ice maker from Amazon for under $70. The owners should invest in that. Ice is important in this weather. The street is nice. The neighborhood is mid. Kinda dicey and I live in LA…. Not a lot of choices for...
