This place was one of the cleanest I’ve ever been in. My husband and I spent the night here and can’t wait to come back the beds were so comfortable and it felt like we had our very own apartment to ourselves. Highly recommend without a doubt and very close to greenport town which we love to travel too!

The room and balcony were both clean and spacious. No major complaints - just that blackout curtains don't exist on the larger windows, which can be an acquired taste for some. We went over Memorial Day weekend, which is typically the onset of beach season, and had wanted to use the beach passes they advertise as part of the resort amenities, to park at various local beaches for our strolls. But at check-in, they said they had not ordered them yet for the 2026 season, so that was a letdown. Also, the buffet breakfast we thought the resort would provide onsite turned out to be just (2) $10 vouchers/night to Stone Street Cafe a 4-min drive away. Street parking is easy there, but just a juice at the cafe was already $10. A shout-out to Mario at the front desk though - he was responsive and prompt to answer all our questions. He was both kind and patient - a wonderful asset to Shoals.

We stayed at the Shoals for 3 nights. Something I didn't realize was that there are no rooms directly facing the water - all rooms look out to the parking lot. The property and rooms were very clean and very well maintained, however many things were lacking. 1.) MAJOR concern: We asked for a pack n play for our baby and they brought up a mattress with it. We looked up the mattress brand (Spring Spirit) and it was recalled in 2024!! Parents: please check all the items you receive!! We were horrified at this. 2.) The curtains in the room overlooking the outdoor space are sheer, so you can see right into the rooms at all times. 3.) We never received any type of breakfast while we were here. I received a text on our first night that breakfast would be served from 8:30-11:00am, but at 8:30 we went down and there were no signs of breakfast anywhere...We never received breakfast vouchers or a delivery to the room that others had mentioned. 4.) We didn't use the stove, but there were no pots or pans in the room - maybe you request those specifically? 5.) They only have the food truck/bar open on weekend nights, even though weekdays seemed plenty occupied with guests. 6.) As others have mentioned, the walls are VERY thin. You can hear other guests easily - as well as traffic from Main Road and noise from the boat slips. We didn't love our stay - I think there are much better options in NoFo. And the mattress situation made our first trip away with baby a scary one.
