We liked the friendly welcome. The check in / out was easy and simple. The location offers a great break within the nature especially if you are in transit on your way to / back a far vacation destination. The breakfeast was nicely arranged, we were very satisfied with our booking.

Nous avons apprécié l'accueil, la propreté de la chambre quoi que un peu petite mais le balcon avec vue piscine a changé la donne. Le petit déjeuner etait bon avec du choix, nous avions la chambre safari.

Un lieu indiscutablement accueillant et dépaysant à la décoration originale. J'ai particulièrement apprécié la piscine adaptée pour la famille avec un coin à part qui avait un goût de paradis. Si la chambre était également originale et confortable, malheureusement, j'ai relevé le manque d'intimité. Seule une cloison en osier séparait le cabinet de toilette de la chambre. Mais surtout, nous avons dû nous bagarrer contre une légion de moustiques toute la nuit. Autrement dit, nous n'avons pas pu fermer l'œil de la nuit. Quel dommage, car l'accueil, le cadre et le petit déjeuner étaient à la hauteur !

Not my cup of tea

Unquestionably an unusual place. (Unfortunately, pics on internet seem to be outdated by 10 years. Garden is surrounded by high bushes and trees by now and appears a bit gloomy). Rooms are decorated according to specific themes (ours was “African Safari”, neighbor’s was something about Asia with lots of bamboo - both with canopy beds and pink mosquito screens). If interesting at some point – and probably a curiosity worth seeing then – the concept seems to have hived off. One cannot fight impression that owners fell victim to their concept and forgot the customer on the way. In our room each corner, including bathroom shelves, were filled with flee market trophies: African statues, handicrafts and wood-carvings. In the entire house, no single spot is left out. Decoration everywhere, if need be with 2x4 feet photographs on the doors. Breakfast is served between 8am and 9.15am at a single table where all guests take seat. Even though a bit cramped in, we liked that because it makes people talk to each other. Owner is polite an correct, however not very open to criticism - no matter how well-intended. (We suggested to hand out the 26-digit (!) WiFi password to guests rather than expecting them to copy it off a wall posting. Also, it didn’t work after three tries. All the owner could say: “Of course it works, you made a mistake...") All in all: not my cup of tea.

Vi bokade boendet pga att det fanns pool, när vi kom dit var poolen trasig och ej badbar vilket vi förstod att den inte varit på länge. Förövrigt en speciell upplevelse med inredningen på boendet.
