The resort is beautiful and located in top of a small mountain overlooking the city of Sparti and olive groves. It’s an easy drive to town and most local attractions. It is a locally owned hotel and the staff are friendly, professional and very helpful. Demetrios and Gianna and the entire staff were extremely helpful in organizing a large family dinner for 25 and everyone was impressed with the food, the location and staff. We highly recommend the hotel!

This was a beautiful lace in Sparti. The pool is well maintained and fun. Lots of kids and families. The houses are great to help you feel at home in the area and a good base to explore the mountains and close to Mystras. Very friendly staff and the breakfast was a fantastic spread.

The location of this property is absolutely amazing. You have a 360 degree view of all of Sparti and the surrounding area. The food was also excellent, especially the breakfast (man they give you a lot of food, lol!). The place itself is very nice, though the room was a bit "Spartan", pun intended. It had everything we needed but the shower could have been a bit cleaner. The help was very polite and helpful. I would highly recommend this property if anything for the wonderful view.

Awesome place and highly recommended

Our stay at the Melies Hotel was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and very hard working to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The pool area and restaurant views overlook the mountains, olive trees, and the wonderful city of Sparta. The rooms and accommodations were spacious and very clean. The breakfast included in your stay is full of fruits, breads , eggs , and coffees. The menu is full and there so many drinks to choose from alcoholic and non alcoholic. This place for a vacation or a quick short local get away is highly recommended for any size family and any age group you may have or be traveling with. Thai is place will be a return stay for our family for sure.
