โWe had a great stay. It was a city break with my two children and we really enjoyed the experience. The CoalShed has real character and was a great place to hang out with my kids and use as a base to explore all the great stuff on offer in Bristol.
We loved the games facilities and the 'honesty bar', which is a great idea and was definitely welcome in the evening.
The communal area is great for socialising with the other guests as well.
The rooms were comfy and really well laid out, there was...
โGreat hotel, excellent location, about 5/6 mins to the waterfront bars, 10 mins to main shopping area, lots of bars, restaurants & cafes within 5 mins. St Nicholas markets 3/4 mins. Rooms nice and cool. โ
โVery good properly run hotel - front desk staff who are friendly and helpful and know their stuff. Lovely architecture - if you like the sixties. Big comfortable room - no air-conditioning so got a bit hot but 5 stars other than that. โ
โI would stay there again. However it would have been nice to have instructions on how to use the appliances. Had to figure out using chatgbt how to use dishwasher and washer/dryer. Could have had more kitchen garbage bags. There was just the one there and no others.โ
โWhat a lovely apartment - we wish we could have stayed longer. It was perfectly situated for my daughter's graduation, and with onsite parking and electric car charging, it couldn't have been more convenient for us.โ
โStaff were all lovely. Room comfortable, breakfast fresh with good choice.
Location was brilliant with easy walk into city centre and a bus stop right outside to get to Clifton which was well worth the trip.
Would stay again. โ
