"Not worth the money, not even enough furniture to sit on, couldn’t eat there as only furnished for two people even though a two bedroom villa. Completely lied about it being a 2 minute walk to Finn’s (reason we stayed there), was a 30 min walk so unless you can walk 1 km in 1 minute, you’re not doing it in 2 minutes. Disappointed."

"My husband and I stayed at Alila Seminyak for a week starting August 26th, and it was nothing short of pure bliss. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and attentiveness of the staff made us feel truly cared for. Special mention to Alit (Hotel Manager) and Geoffrey (Concierge)—their genuine kindness and daily check-ins made a lasting impression. While every staff member was exceptional, these two went truely above and beyond.
Our room was hands-down the best we’ve ever stayed in (thanks to Alit). The breathtaking view overlooking the adults-only pool, offered complete serenity. It was the peaceful escape I needed after recently losing my beautiful Mum. For me the hotel became a sanctuary of tranquility and healing. I couldn’t have asked for better.
It is literally steps away from Seminyak’s busy streets, shopping, cafes, and restaurants and yet you wouldn’t know it inside the grounds.
The breakfasts and coffee were amazing with a wide range of à la carte options. The open-air reception, three stunning pools, and beach bar with live music created a perfect balance of relaxation and lively atmosphere.
Dinner at the hotel restaurant was a highlight—delicious food, amazing cocktails and the sunset at night was just beautiful.
We met a couple who return every year, and they shared how the staff remember them and their daughter by name. That kind of personal touch speaks volumes. Alila Seminyak isn’t just a hotel—it’s a rare gem. We will be back!"
"We had an excellent stay at the property. The room was very well-thought out in terms of the layout and the amenities that were available to us. The waterfront restaurant, the fusion restaurant and the beach club all had exceptional service. We were a bit disappointed that the hotel representatives told us about "Sunset Park" but failed to mention that it's a rooftop bar. We only wandered up there on our last day and it would have been nice to know about it beforehand so we could have full enjoyed it!"

The resort is a lovely place even though some things look dated that is to be expected in the tropics, everything is clean, bed was very comfortable, 24hr room service, breakfast available till 11am, late checkout and the massage was sensational. "If I could give 6 stars I would. Staff (front desk reception, housekeeping, etc.) were all extremely kind, helpful, and patient. They went above and beyond to accommodate our requests, provide us with recommendations, and quickly resolve any concerns. Housekeeping was on top of everything, leaving our room very clean! The Komu was a walking distance from everything we wanted to check out in Canggu, very close to beaches, shops, restaurants, beach clubs, etc. The room itself is cozy, clean, and has everything we need. The hotel even has a gym open 24 hours and a pool open until later in the evening. I'd come back to this place if I visit Bali again in the future."
