“Beds and suite mostly excellent. Staff were terrific. Cannot understand why a brand new Canadian facility would have such LOW TOILETS! Anyone over 6 foot tall or seniors who are somewhat inflexible - we are both - found it a long way down to sit on toilets built for a 10 yr old! Serious brain cramp at the design & build stage. Even much lower class hotels are smart enough to install adult height toilets during initial construction. We would stay again in a heartbeat but will not be doing so due...

“I couldn’t get the tv to go to just regular channels. There needs to be an explanation as to how it works so that people like me who are technologically challenged can use it. It also said to get in touch with front desk if any issues but there is nothing on the phone to let you do that so you have to get dressed and actually go to the front desk”

“All was excellent except for a noisy heat pump fan in the breakfast room which could not be disabled (at the time we were there, anyway), perhaps it's been fixed subsequently). We took our breakfast outside. Love the location near the waterfront,”

“Hotel is old (cracked bathroom sink) and old carpets. But clean enough and comfortable beds. “Free Breakfast” was packaged muffins or a no name fruit cup - that’s it. One type of keurig coffee. Friendly staff. Small town, mid week, low occupancy so maybe $165 was a bit high.”
