Shame about the damp!
We booked a non-ensuite room to save a bit of money, but were given the ensuite on arrival for the same price as it was still available.... I knew that pigeon pooing on my shoulder down at the harbour would bring good luck! The room was spacious and comfortable as was the ensuite, but there was a slight feeling and odour of damp in the bedroom and the shower handle fell off immediately upon use! Easily fixed but not what you'd expect! The breakfast cooked by the hubby was lovely, fresh and tasty. Beautiful poached eggs! Although it wasn't perfect, the comfort of the big room and the location, just steps from the lovely harbour, make up for the shortcomings.
