This is a great little sanctuary nestled just off the main road as you head into town from Kandy.
Clear directions provided prior to arrival, quick check-in and warm welcome provided. The 2 story villa is cosy and comfortable with all necessary amenities provided including coffee machine, microwave, fridge, usb speaker, sofa, dining table, crockery and cutlery.

Bernard in particular was fantastic, especially his cooking โ we had both dinner and breakfast there. Very glad we chose this over the โgrand hotelโ in the end. โ

โ+++ Absolutely magnificent place with a wonderful history. The wooden features are beautiful and the bedrooms are outstanding. Wonderful snooker table and fireplaces. Lovely garden where you can sit and enjoy afternoon tea. The staff, especially Sameera, were absolutely excellent- they couldnโt do enough for us. โThe Cheriz Boutique is beautiful. It is very peaceful and relaxing. The view of the tea plantation was just stunning. This is a great place for a couple's retreat - peaceful and romantic. The staff were very nice and the a la carte menu was great. It is an ideal hotel to escape to and relax. โ
โMy room, the views, landscaping/grounds, quality of the facilities, and food at this hotel are all superb and honestly in my view worthy of a much heftier rate. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in this Nuwara Eliya!โ

โwe had a lovely time in Galway Heights. We really liked the location in a small rural road close to a hindu temple and small village and in the tea plantations. Breakfast was very nice, and the staff very attentive. The only grievance was the lack of elevator. We would definitely recommend this.โ
โHad an amazing time ! Our trip had a very rocky start but the couple who owns the place were soo homely and treated us like their own daughters. We had an extremely good time, and we would love to stay with them again any time we ever visit ! Definitely recommend and will make your trip to Sri Lanka 1000x better. โ
