"This wonderful historic house will give you a feel for Kochi's history and is a treat to stay in. The food at Koder House is fabulous, and incredibly reasonably priced. Staff is amazing, attentive and goes way out of their way to be helpful. You can expect, and will get, the kind of help that is not easily forthcoming at hip hotels nearby. "Comfortable accommodation and well worth the money. One thing to note is that the place is a bit away (30 min walk) from the main tourist area of Fort Kochi. Not a lot dining options around the hotel either. However, you can take a bus or a quick tuk tuk ride to Jewish town or fort Kochi beach area. Good AC and ceiling fan. Windows with nets to prevent mosquitoes, fairly quiet place. Had a good night's sleep without fail"

"Renovated Portuguese-era building. Immaculate condition, while being faithful to its historic roots. A/C worked perfectly . Shower great. Beds super comfortable. Staff was attentive and hospitable. The hotel/ inn is 1 min from the Chinese fishing nets & is perfectly placed for nice shops and a handful of restaurants. Of the 6 properties in which I stayed on a 2-wk trip, this was easily my favorite. For visitors flying into COK airport, be aware that with standard traffic it’s 75-90 minutes to the property. (If you transit overnight, it’s more like 45 minutes.)"

The staff were very responsive and kind, and the location was amazing — everything was walkable for us. It’s simple, comfortable, and full of heart. If you’re looking for that genuine family feeling in Fort Kochi, this is the best option. I would definitely return. "

"The property is spacious very traditional look tall ceilings large bathrooms. Powerful ac in bedrooms and good fans in the living area. It is well located in the center of fort in a tucked away area. We slept amazingly well and the chef Vishnu took care of all our dietary needs and prepared wonderful Indian meals. Breakfast and dinner. We could not stop eating. Ram the on-site manager of the property took care of our city tour arranged swimming pool in Taj resort helped with tickets for dance performance. Simply fantastic stay. Thank you AMA Ram and Vishnu for memorable stay in Kochi. "
