"The Pod was amazing, we don’t think the photos do it justice! We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and would love to visit again. Kevin and Michelle have thought of everything and were excellent with communicating details for directions and check in/out times. The location is brilliant, so close to St Ives and Carbis Bay, and the main bus route is right on the main road. Would highly recommend to anyone considering staying here. "

"Such a lovely little holiday home, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Teg is literally in the middle of nowhere, blink and you’ll miss the turning so make sure you read your email directions. We didn’t! We followed the sites postcode directions which aren’t specific enough. The accommodation is so quaint, lots of lovely blues and Cornish ware China, everything you need to make a cup of tea and coffee and toast and the hosts very kindly left us a cream tea to enjoy when we arrived. "We arrived at what was supposed to be a b&b, no breakfast available. The room could have done with a good clean marks all over the walls, toothpaste on bathroom wall. Stairs upto the rooms were not hoovered in the 2 days we were their. Remote for tv was missing and ketle was faulty. Reported this on both days but nothing done. First night we stayed the bar was said to close at 12 midnight but doors were banging and very loud people untill 2am. Would not stay again"

"Brilliant location for us and lovely interior of old country pub. I had booked a room which had a fridge which was a bonus. There were 4 pods on the site and hubbie said might have liked staying in one. After a disaterous glamping weekend in a bell tent, not the tent bring the problem but rowdy group in next tent I chose a room. Def going back when visiting again and will book a pod next time. Food was great as well and reasonable"

"We had a beach view room and it was amazing to look at the sea from the second floor. Breakfast was included within the superior room at a premium rate, but it was worth to pay more for the view. There was always water and ice tea at the counter and coffee machine available to get hot drinks at any time, which was great. Overall it was a great stay."

"Travelling as a family we had 3 rooms here, one family room and 2 doubles. 2 of the rooms were amazing with views of St Michael’s mount. The 3rd room was tiny in comparison but cost roughly the same. So mixed views on the rooms, similarly in the restaurant, breakfast was excellent however, fish and chips in the restaurant in the evening and children’s meals were disappointing considering the location and price point."

"I recently stayed at this hotel in St Ives and had a very disappointing experience. The room I was given did not match what was shown in the booking photos at all. It felt misleading and not worth the money. Cleanliness was a major issue — the room was not properly cleaned, which made the stay very uncomfortable. Basic services were also missing, and when I raised these concerns with the staff, there was little to no response or effort to resolve the situation. Overall, the lack of cleanliness, poor service, and mismatch between the advertised and actual room made this a very negative experience. I would not recommend this hotel to others and strongly suggest future guests be cautious before booking."
