Dan is exceptionally kind and his dog Rosie is exceptionally sweet. The bed was very comfy as were the robes. The location could not be better - across the street from a lovely park and in a wonderful neighborhood and right next to Soulard neighborhood with tons of great restaurants and Irish pubs.

I had a wonderful stay at the Benton Park Inn. The room was comfortable and the innkeeper Dan (and his sweet dog Rosie) were lovely company. And the breakfast was stellar!! Highly recommend!!!

We could not stay because I had a bad bicycle accident 30 minutes after check in. owner never offered to reschedule since I was in the hospital and could not use the accomodations. My inn keeper was friendly. However the 1st floor was incredibly messy. Surprisingly messy and dusty . I was quite uncomfortable. However our 2nd floor room was clean and tidy. parking was provided. And, it is across from a lovely park and a block away from a famous pretzel shop.

Dan was a fabulous host, staying in contact before hand, greeting us at the door (with sweet Rosie), helping these weary travelers find a nearby dinner spot, and making sure we were comfortable. His homemade breakfast was delicious. Our bedroom was spacious and clean; an antique bed was comfortable. Easy parking. While on a busy street, things were pretty quiet at night. Benton Park across the street is a great place to take a walk. Will stay here again.

Great communication of where to park and how to access. Ample beverages to choose from, and breakfast was delicious! As a very early riser, I was able to get a cup of coffee and bring back to my room. I also appreciated the organic half and half that was supplied! Dan & Rosie were very welcoming! Would stay here again if ever in the area. Of note- as the property is located on a busy street, it was a little noisy at times, but I still got a good nights sleep. Very big, comfortable room and bed. I would suggest replacing the towels, they smelled clean but are dingy looking. Overall highly recommend this property!

Dan and Rosie are the best hosts I've ever stayed with. They are so accommodating! From the beautiful room I stayed in to the complimentary beverages in the kitchen to the delicious breakfast each morning, I can't express enough how great the experience was.
