I had a reservation for 2 rooms. Howeverโฆ when we arrived we were told our reservation had been canceled. I had confirmation numbers for both rooms, and received no communication about a cancellation. The manager wouldnโt speak to me, but rather made the front desk clerk do her โdirty work.โ I was told our reservation had been canceled this morning due to my payment method declining authorization, yet no transaction had ever been attempted. My sonโs family experienced the same exact situation today with them. Canceled room, no communication, same explanation about the payment method. We thought we would just go ahead and get a room since we were there and had traveled from the east coast, but (believe it or not) there were no rooms available. They had overbooked. I will never attempt to stay here again, and I will be contacting LaQuinta corporate to explain my experience.
