Locks are old Key system and could be opened with my Pocket Knife due to poor door fit... ! They charged a $30 key deposit and have to wait 3 weeks to be credited back to my Credit Card... Not happy with that at all.. !!! will see if that actually happens???

Owners very nice and helpful. Room was clean . Some beer cans and and cigarette butts outside of rooms a little off-putting . I think they need a designated outdoor smoking area as the do not allow smoking in rooms. A good thing. Trying to register through small door opening due to covid also a little inconvenient. Very nice owners for sure.

It was a last minute weekend in Clearwater. The motel is old., but it has been renovated with new floors and bathroom finishes. Our room was really clean. The owner apologized immensely for drilling the side of the building at 8 am on Sunday morning. He was repairing a leak before the projected rain arrived. I understood.

Nicely renovated room!

The room had been renovated and was very nice. Wish we had brought our pillows. Theirs were very flat with no support. Overall we were pleased and would return.

Great place in Largo

I have been highly satisfied with my stay at Delux Inn Clearwater! The place is sparkling clean with all utilities working. Hosts are friendly, attentive as if to their family member. I would highly recommend Delux to every guest in Clearwater, as I have experienced staying in other places in the area. Would definitely come back there!

RELAXING VACATION STAY

Me and my husband reserved a room for 4 days,when we arrived it wasnt what we were expecting so we left and drove around trying to find closer to the beach after 17hrs of driving we decided to give it a try! So i asked if we could see the room first,the owner was AMAZING shes so nice,in fact she offered to not charge my card if we didnt want to stay...well once she showed us the room! i was AMAZED it was very clean,nice size,and very comfortable! I wish id of gotten the owners name but she's AMAZING She is so NICE! DEFINITELY worth our money and to be honest the 4 nights at the hotel was the most comfortable relaxing part of our vacation!! The ONLY problem was the air conditioner it works well but we had to go buy a fan to get it cool enough for the whole room....she DEFINITELY is making updates and really trying to make the rooms even better! its nothing fancy but if your looking for something COMFORTABLE AND AFFORDABLE THIS IS THE SPOT!! if your looking or used to the fancy resort hotels...well then no this isnt the place for you!! we'll definitely be staying here again on our next vacation to Clearwater beach!! oh and the drive to the beach is LITERALLY just a 10 minute drive and CLOSE TO EVERYTHING

Older,clean and convenient

This is a old motel, right on the main drag. No frills,but very clean and owners were nice and very concerned about Covid 19 dustance and cleaning. I was just there to sleep not to hang out. If your looking for a convenient, inexpensive place to crash at end of the beach day, its fine

Great stay!

Workers were very nice and let me park a 24 foot enclosed behind the building so I could go to the beach! Very nice rooms and nice people to work with!

I wish there was a way to secure valuables in the room. The location was right on Gulf to Bay Blvd. Heavy traffic and easy for someone to pull into the lot, break into a room and grab valuables and get out of there fast. Not saying it's likely but I did not feel comfortable leaving valuables in the room. Consider adding safes to the rooms?
