"An historic hotel which needs some deferred maintenance and updates. Very helpful staff. Large comfortable room with very uneven floor. Bathroom comfortable. Upstairs enclosed patio needs severe cleaning. Great location. Friendly vibe at very casual bar."

"We were there on a weekend and most places nearby had no vacancies. This resort had glamping units. I have camped and stayed in lots of hotels, but this was a first. The tent was spacious with 2 queen size beds , a table and chairs with room to spare. There is a permanent rain fly, so leaking would never be a problem. The beds have electric heat so we slept comfortably despite a chilly night. Shower and bathrooms were a short walk. I really enjoyed the experience."

Rooms were clean, temperature controls were available and felt very private. We did not get to enjoy the onsite cafe but will look forward to it next trip."
