Overall a nice property. Clean and well maintained. We didn’t use many of the amenities on site because we spent our time offsite at local beaches and on St. John. It would be a lot of walking for some. They do have shuttles but we didn’t use them so not sure if they were easy to catch or not.

Overall the resort was great. To be even better, they need more shuttles roaming the property to transport guests to the pools and their rooms. The beach at the resort is unswimmable but Cokie is a short walk. No need to wait for the shuttle. Dining options are very limited. But, the food at the one restaurant is good.

Had to wait until 530 for my room day of check in. Rooms were at the top of a steep hill and needed to be driven by golf carts just to get back to the room multiple times. Also unable to go into the water as the beach was not swimmable.

The staff and service were possibly the worst I've ever experienced! The staff at the restaurants were the worst and after waiting over an hour with no one taking on parties order we left. The facilities and amenities are not maintained and the beach area is filthy. Dont waste your time and money!

Let me tell you something Jack!, if you don’t have a rental car, you can kiss your freedom of mobility goodbye on this island! Like all other resorts, Margaritaville is surrounded by low income that require some sort of transportation to get around. It’s real out here in these streets! Don’t get me wrong, the property is picturesque, but like all things in life, it’s all an illusion. If you an older traveler be sure to tell them that. Like other reviewers have mentioned, there are a crap ton of steps. I lost 3lbs due to the amount of steps I traversed on the property, and they was with the extra, delicious, delectable food I ate throughout the entire trip! Staff was great, room was clean, and the vibe was chill. Leave your American privilege at home and you definitely will enjoy yourself! I would stay again!

This resort has seen better days. Our shower leaked all over the floor. The room really needs a deep cleaning. I've stayed at this resort twice and the Taxi service increases every year. The driver's will try to cheat you. They begin at $50.00 per person and then go down to $20.00. Breakfast buffet is $30.00 per person for limited food. Gratuity is added even if you order a water. Avoid this money pit.

Really nice place to stay! Lots of stairs to get around the property but many available carts to deliver you to your destination. Coco beach is walking distance and is a great place to hang out at the beach. Margaritaville beach had lots of seaweed and not swimable. Restaurant at resort is not good, food and service is subpar.

Landscaping is beautiful. The condo was small with no shade in the bedroom. Shower curtain kept falling down. The terrace was open and had cusioned chairs that got soaking wet when it rained. The only restaurant on property was incredibly bad and the service was awful. The tables were dirty.

My family and I just felt like the staff wasn’t very helpful or informative; on the resort amenities or near by activities to do. During our stay, most days, the staff seemed as if they couldn’t be bothered The resort itself didn’t have much to do beyond the use of the pool. The food service was extremely slow. An average of an 45mins to an hour to get our order. One morning, I waited 25mins for a bagel! We’re a family of four. They do not clean your room during your stay. Obviously we were going to make the best of our trip but it’s highly unlikely we will return. For the dials cost of staying here, one just expects “more for your buck”. We hope in the future things may change for this resort as it probably could be a lot better with just a few changes.

The rooms were clean. The room we booked had a full kitchen setup along with a nice shower and a very short walk from the hillside (bar) pool. They didn’t have the room ready when we arrived, but held our bags as we went to get dinner. The restaurant food isn’t great, and the service is slower than restaurants in mainland America, so don’t expect fast/ super friendly service. The hotel is great, the restaurant is just okay. I would recommend bringing plenty of cash for your events, a lot of places have cash prices and card prices. There is an ATM in the main lobby if you need it. Laundry at every building, and they give you free laundry soap. There were tiny bugs in our room, not gnats, not ants, but I think that’s to be expected when traveling somewhere this warm. They didn’t get into our food, but were more of a nuisance than a real problem. They don’t clean your room everyday, but do give you materials to clean up if you want, and will provide additional linens/towels upon request. I would stay here again.

I really like overall ambience of the property ! The room was beautiful, taxi’s easily accessible, and the cart to get from one area to the next. I just wish that there were roundtrip complimentary taxi service or atleast group discount given the price of the stay.

enjoyed the fact that it had 2 pools and a restaurant, I just didnt like on the beach there was a lot seaweed and couldn't really enjoy the beach area. loved the pool next to the bar. and our 2-floor room was so nice, I enjoyed it a lot.
