"We mostly enjoyed our stay but were a little annoyed that you had to pay per day for the AC when the listing said all rooms have AC. Also, when we arrived the windows had been cracked so there were dozens of mosquitos in the room. We had around 30-50 bites per person after the first night which has never happened to me before. Otherwise the stay was ok. Beds were comfortable and the pool was very nice. After we paid for the AC it worked well."

"Stayed in superior studio for 10 nights in July 2026 and was pleased to find it exactly as per the photo's advertised. Pool view and very modern, exceptionally clean with fresh towels and bed linen almost daily (except sunday). Room service lady did an excellent job keeping room very clean and tidy throughout our whole stay. Nikos, the host / gentleman behind the pool bar who you check in with and generally looks after you and the facilities is a really nice and pleasant guy. The location of the property is excellent, just off the main beach road towards the Malia end of Stalis but any noise from the abundance of bars and restaurants which are right outside the property is minimal, and it was a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The pool area is nice and cleaned every night. The only negative element for us about this property is that although there was always plenty of free sun loungers and parasols around the pool there was almost never any shade available until about 5pm in the afternoon, at which point the whole pool was also in the shade (but still warm enough). The parasols unfortunately are fixed into the ground and cannot be moved but they offer no protection from the sun at all. You can sit in the shade in the pool snack bar area however. We would certainly consider stopping here again on a future return visit to Stalis which we found to be a very nice resort."

"The pool is beautiful and clean and everything is immaculate. The owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming and there’s nothing they wouldn’t do for you. The beds are gorgeous and comfortable and the pillows are to die for ❤️❤️❤️ I also had lunch and it was lush. I highly recommend and would definitely go back again 😍😍😍"

"We had a wonderful stay. The room and whole hotel is absolutely spotless. The staff are amazing. Maria is just wonderful and goes out of her way to make your stay special. The pool area and direct access to the beach is great. Thank you for a fantastic a week. "

"This place is a few steps from the beach, clean and well maintained. Everything in the room worked without any problems. The air-conditioning was worth it to pay a little bit extra for at checkin. The main street is right there with an endless selection of food places and all the necessities (supermarket, pharmacy etc) are a short walk away on the main street. The beach is mere meters away and it is a pleasant sandy beach. The incline of the sea is gentle. We were there in the middle of August and neither the beach nor the water were crowded. Our apartment was comfortable and practically equipped. In 2025 the rooms have excellent sound insulation from the outside, when restaurants on the main street played music in the evening with the window closed we did not hear anything."
