The hotel staff are wonderful, the food is fantastic (the best steak that we have ever had!), and the location is ideal (bus stop is in the parking lot ski in ski out when there is snow). "Fantastic location - a 5 min flat walk to Brig Rail/Bus station and a slightly uphill walk to the town centre and Schlossalpenstock. Perfect for our plans for daily train trips (Brig has mainline connections across Switzerland and to Italy and is a station on the Glacier Express route from Zermatt to Andermatt, Chur and St Moritz). The dining areas offered a great selection of high quality options for breakfast and evening meals. All of the staff were professional, friendly and helpful and are clearly a great team. We chose the economy rooms and these were smaller than other rooms in the hotel but were still well equipped with really comfortable beds, en-suite shower room, TV, coffee machine and minibar and thoughtful touches such as a multi-country adaptor plug in the room and toothrbush/toothpaste in the shower room. My only minor issue (as a larger person!) was the shower cubicle entrance was very narrow - but, once inside, the shower was hot and powerful. "
