It’s a hostel not a hotel, bring everything you need with you because they don’t provide any toiletries in the shared washrooms. Only thing provided was a towel.

Great location, incredibly central, however there are loud trucks that pass by on certain days super early in the morning. Bathroom could use some shelves for toiletries. Water splashed basically everywhere all the time while showering. The room we got was a surprise in how small it was, but for two people it worked ok! Can’t beat the location and how close it is to the palace, cathedral, museum island, and shopping areas. We walked everywhere!

It is right in old town in a cool old building and easy walking to many museums, water, restaurants. Can walk to central station for train or subway. We had a room with a shared bathroom that was OK, not great. Room was large enough for our family of 4.

Amazing hotel in a fantastic area. Everywhere was walkable, with lots of dining options nearby too and the water just at the end of the street. Spotlessly clean too. Just a couple of words of warning .. the blinds are paper thin and sit over a foot from the windowsill, so are utterly pointless. Our room also had 2 bright street lamps right outside, so it was like daylight at night. Definitely take an eye mask!! Also, there's a restaurant/wine bar under the hotel, that seems to turn into a nightclub at the weekend and has loud booming music until about 1.30am. Not ideal at all, but for the cleanliness and location I would definitely consider staying there again. I'd just make sure I stayed out late on Friday and Saturday nights!!

Castle House Inn was located in the atmospheric and beautiful old town of Stockholm. The inn was a great choice for sightseeing because it was within walking distance to most major attractions. Note that bathrooms were shared. The only issue I had was the door. Sometimes it was hard to open the door. Staff were trying to hep address the issue.

Great place in Gamla Stan
Somewhat confusing getting into the place, but friendly service and good room ensuite. Bathroom was small and shower was somewhat messy, but good to have a private bathroom. Bed was comfortable. This is an old historic property and rooms are small but servicable. No air conditioning if you come in summer. Provided with everything needed and the elevator was a big plus for suitcases since we were on the third floor. Convenient to everything in Gamla Stan. Loved Stockholm!! Not luxury accomodations by any means, but we would stay again for the price, location and convenience.

Great location in Stockholm’s “old town” (Gamla Stan). My room was clean and adequate. It was small and no frills. Exactly what I was looking for. If you’re expecting a US-style room with lots of space, this ain’t it. But it’s good enough at a great location. It’s only a 2-minute walk to the Royal Palace and other nearby attractions. If you’re looking for a quaint hotel that checks off the box for old-world style, this is a great option.
