“Beautiful hotel even looking through storm Claudia! The food was first class in the restaurant with some of the best chicken I've tasted. The room was lovely and little touches like light coming on when you opened the cupboard & a night light in the bathroom added to the stay. Bed was soft and comfortable. Very pleasant stay with lovely staff and if we ever go up that was again, definitely high on our list to stay: just hope the weather is better :-)”

“I had never stayed in a room above a Public House but I was amazed just how good the Staff made me feel. I was escorted to a lovely clean room with excellent facilities. I soon realised that the owners took personal control of guest relations when I requested extra warm bedding, it was delivered to my room by one of the co-owners, in person! “Spa tub was lovely, veranda equally lovely. The room was clean and well appointed, front desk staff were not available when we arrived but communicated how to access our room - which was great. Dining options are sparse and you must drive if you want to have a proper dinner. No dining after 5pm at the clubhouse - which was kind of a bummer. Relaxing atmosphere for the room though - secluded and private. Incredibly peaceful. ”
