Top Sugarloaf Key Hotel Reviews

Blue Flamingo Resort Key West
8/10 Good
"Love the proximity of the property, the resort offered lots of amenities. My only complaint was all the elevators being out of order, luckily we were only on the second floor."

Margaritaville Beach House Key West
8/10 Good
"Great coffee in the morning. Beds comfortable. Sand beach right across from resort entrance. Air conditioning had difficulty keeping up. Room was a little musty. Once you add in resort fees, expensive considering what you get."

Ibis Bay Beach Resort
8/10 Good
"It says their is a private beach, there is. But it’s very small, its rocky and there isn’t much sand. There was small sharks and upside down jelly fish which were cool to see. The room was nice honestly, the shower was a little small. The restaurant on the resort was very expensive and not very good. It is pretty far from the main things in Keywest but we just got Ubers when we wanted to go places and also walked while we were on the other side of the island. The staff in the office were very kind, the bar staff was a little rude and stand off ish. Lots of lizards and iguanas around which was very good. There is a grocery store very close which is nice. Overall a pretty good stay. The breakfast was simple but there was decent options."

Opal Key Resort & Marina, Key West
10/10 Excellent
"Only stayed one night but great location and hotel! Everything was walkable. There was also self-parking available rather than valet."

Casa Marina Key West, Curio Collection by Hilton
10/10 Excellent
"Casa Marina is beautiful. The beach is stunning, the views are breathtaking and the room we stayed in was so nice. We had an ocean front with a balcony and it was so peaceful, quiet and relaxing. The room was very spacious, clean and modern. Room service came each day and provided fresh linens and we never had to call for anything. The breakfast was good, the food at the pool restaurant was good, and service everywhere was very good. I also loved the store at the resort, they had very cute stuff. All the staff I encountered were very nice. Only thing this place is missing is robes to wear in the room! I will definitely be back!"

Southernmost Beach Resort and Guesthouses
10/10 Excellent
"The property is amazing and big (laid out) over 2 blocks. Staff are amazing and accommodating. Can’t wait to come back!"

Hilton Garden Inn Key West / The Keys Collection
8/10 Good
"Checked into room 214 and discovered the ac wasn’t working, called the front desk to inform them. They sent someone up and he took the thermal off the wall and it started working. We left for lunch and came back to change for the beach & the heater was blowing. Ugh once again we’re back to a sweat box. This went on for quite a few hours our first day. It would blow cold then hot. It was annoying to say the least. The fitness center is in the basement & o had no issue using the treadmill & elliptical Pool area was nice and clean. Overall it was a good visit but the heat in the room was sad"

La Concha Key West, Autograph Collection
10/10 Excellent
"Very nice facility very clean"

Hyatt Vacation Club at Windward Pointe, Key West
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed at the Hyatt Vacation Club at Windward Pointe in Key West and overall had a great experience. The room was spacious, very clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. The property itself was well maintained, relaxing, and a great place to unwind. One thing to note is that the resort is very close to the airport, so there is some airplane noise throughout the day. If that doesn’t bother you too much, it’s absolutely worth staying here. It’s also a little outside the main Duval Street area, about a 15–20 minute ride depending on traffic, and usually around a $25 Uber. For us, that was a fair tradeoff for a quieter, more laid-back property. One thing that could be clearer in the listing is the beach situation. The property is not directly on a beach. Across the street is more of a bulkhead/waterfront area where you’re not really going to lay out or swim. The closest actual beach is about a 15-minute walk away. Overall, we’d definitely stay here again."
