โBerkey himself is a gracious, helpful, and thoughtful host. His communications are excellent and once there, he will be there for you. He attends to details and has pride in this hideaway. It requires a walk up ~40 steep steps but once on top, your are in a beautiful valley with wildlife and jungle sounds. โHet personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk en erg betrokken. Ze checkten regelmatig bij ons in en deden er alles aan om ons thuis te laten voelen en ons te verwennen. Ze waren oprecht geรฏnteresseerd en er was veel persoonlijke aandacht. โThere was a mix-up about the room description, but the staff made it right. The restaurant bar staff were fun and attentive. Air-conditioning was truly a blessing! Balcony was a perfect view of the ocean and we got a bird's eye view of ocean wildlife coming ashore in the morning at breakfast. Room was clean and adapters were provided for electronic device usage and charging. I would definitely visit here again.โ
โThe setting is lovely, secluded, and with a pool and beautiful deck, bar area, perched in the tropical hills. It is a stunning setting. The driveway to the Resort is steep and challenging, especially the first time. Once you've made it to the top, it's worth it. We would stay there again. โ

โThe address was not correct, it leads us to the hospital, I had to ask for directions. When the men arrived at the bottom of the stairs, they were sitting and never responded to the "hello", maybe because of my complexion, whatever, I didn't try to say hello again after that. The maids was nice and polite. โ
โOverall we loved it, though it would have been good to know that you can't drive to the hotel if you don't have a proper 4WD as it is located at the end of a long and steep tarished road. Luckily the hotel offers an transport service for the dirty road between 8am and 5pm.
They also offer food(preorder only) and drinks at the bar. The staff was very nice and always helpful. Our favourite was the weekday driver.
