It really did not feel like a 5-star property. The building and rooms are very dated. It was also not cheap compared to other hotels I was looking at. It was a decent stay and fairly close to all the main attractions but I will probably look for another hotel next time.

This hotel was not quite what I had expected. It is a bit isolated from the city without any shops, restaurants or markets nearby. I did walk to Senado, but I certainly would not recommend it. It is located up on a hill so plan on taking a taxi anytime you want to go out. There is not a casino which if I had researched I would have easily found out, but it was an assumption I made incorrectly. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly.
