We stayed for one night and, overall, had a pleasant experience. The building was lovely, the staff were very helpful and went the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable, the food was good, and there was plenty of parking available. Unfortunately, the fire alarm went off twice during our stay, and we were not informed of the reason, which was a little concerning. Also, the shower was cold in the morning, which was disappointing. Despite these issues, the lovely building, excellent staff, and good food were definite positives. With a few improvements, it could be an even better experience.

Excellent hotel with very good rooms, quiet location on the edge of a large park. Plenty of parking and off beaten track so secure in that respect. Nice restaurant with varied menu choices; breakfast excellent. Staff welcoming and very helpful. I would definitely use this again in preference to others closer to or in the town but really need car to access.
