19th century Charm.

If you can get past the holes in the carpet, and the dilapidated bannister rails, the 165yr old property is magical. 4m ceilings, and period furnishings make your stay memorable. The traffic and lack of ANY parking close by are less appealing, but I would go back anytime. Wonderful staff.

A nice little quaint property. Would stay there again. However I would ask that the cleaners wait untill checkout time before vacuuming in next room or upstairs. Building is old with thin walls. Not easy to sleep.

Rundown but good

Good place to stay: close to Taylor Square with lots of cafes and restaurants. Once a nice old building but now rather tired and desperately in need of some maintenance. Good bathroom with a bath, but broken rotten window sill. Comfortable bed and nice furnishings except shabby stained couch and badly stained walls. A shame that this place has been allowed to run down. Still, it was clean and comfortable and reasonably priced, and staff were very pleasant and helpful.

It could have been so much better....

The concept of Boutique Hotel in the name, gave us high expectations of what to expect. Being an older construction, it had some elements missing such as modern shower mixers, sufficient shower pressure, exhaust fans in the toilet, and sound proof window casing. The restaurant facility was also closed. The WiFi signal was of low intensity and kept dropping every now and then. Plumbing issues, sounds permeating through walls & ceilings, springy & low soft mattress with insufficient firmness, spotty / unattractive shower curtains, no intercom facility to speak to a receptionist or housekeeper, were all causes for discontent and customer dissatisfaction.

房間十分细，3人住勉強放下2大1小行李箱，浴室門少了一個手把也沒维修，水箱滴水，水龍頭要好大力才開到，但有好大聲音，怕會爆水喉，企缸連放shampoo 位置都冇，要放地下，好彩只住一晚。 Wifi十分强👍

Accueil très agréable dans un décor ancien de manoir du 19° siècle. l'hôtel est calme, avec un arrêt de bus très proche, la literie est bonne. Petit bémol la propreté qui n'est pas parfaite, de la poussière sur les meubles du salon au rez de chaussée, l'état un peu dégradé de la fenêtre de la salle de bain, le porte d'accès à la terrasse de la chambre difficile à ouvrir et des joints de carrelage dans la salle de bain qui mériteraient d'être refaits. Mais globalement l'ensemble est agréable.

スタッフの対応もよく安心して泊まれました。少し駅からは離れてますがセントラル駅まで(15分)くらいでいけます。行きの坂はかなりしんどいのでスーツケースある方はタクシーでもいいかもしれません。　私は歩きましたが、きつかったです。回りは静かで安心できます。

This hotel looks great but although the staff were excellent and responsive to requests immediately, the hotel is tired. Perhaps a result of 2 years of COVID? The towel rail fell off the wall because the ‘grub’ screw was missing , sorry I didn’t have time to report this, I just put it back. There was no milk to have a coffee , and I couldn’t close the main curtains. The bed looked fabulous and was beautifully made and clean … but the mattress was uncomfortable, it needs a topper as springs are felt .. and I’m a light weight! It was very convenient location for my requirements and I found getting there straightforward, but I probably won’t stay again , a pity because it has HUGE potential. I would have preferred to give a great review, but this is my honest feedback hoping it helps.

The property was beautiful, felt like I was in a beautiful B&B in the Blue Mountains. The room was much bigger than I anticipated. Beds were very comfortable and staff were extremely helpful resolving my parking issue.
