I thought for the price that you pay for the night ,it was so cheap, it was such a lovely old historic feel to the place, was a very nice sized room, so clean and neat, the staff were lovely and I told my husband that if we ever need to stay again in Windsor for the night, that's the place we will be staying and to have to room with the ensuite was fantastic.

The bed was comfortable and for the price that was good enough. It’s an old hotel and facilities reflect that. The ensuite bathroom is tiny, there is hardly any surface to put a bag on, and nothing for hanging up clothes. Ok for one night.

My bedroom was immaculately clean. The staff were friendly, approachable and went above and beyond to facilitate my every need. Food was great. I’ll definitely be back again.

It's quite although located at the crossroads. The staff helped me to get into my room as I left the key by mistake inside it

The menu was pretty good, the staff were fantastic. The accommodation was fair,clean but aged. I feel that the accommodation prices were a bit excessive due the room's age and lack of normal fixtures, ie: wardrobes, fresh glasses, fresh water, extra blankets, A/C.

Live music at the Hotel till 11pm Friday & Saturday night. Room was tiny, no hot water at the basin in the room, no air con (ceiling fan only), room advertised as including a parking space, but only street parking available during our stay. Comfy bed, conveniently located for transport, restaurants and grocery stores.

Food was great and the staff friendly, The room was clean however the bed/mattress was terrible. There was springs sticking out everywhere that actually twanged whenever you moved. Was impossible to get a good nights sleep, time to spend some money Tates if you are seriously going to rent this room out.

Booked an ensuite but they'd 'lost' our booking and the ensuite wasn't available. Door was difficult to lock and was loud until karaoke finished. In the end it was comfortable but not what we expected.

Overall the hotel was nice, there was no staff at check in when we arrived we waited nearly 10 minutes, the fan in the room didn't work and the tv didn't have a remote.

I won't be recommending the Tates Hotel as it was a very ordinary experience, poor car parking, stains on the linen, food was ordinary, poor maintenance of the premises.
