"First of all I think the reviews are fake . The hotel was filthy. We traveled for 9.5 hours really looking forward to this lovely hotel we had booked. Terrible check in went to the room nothing like what was shown. Carpet had not been hoovered there was hair fluff bits of stick . The bathroom had hair in the shower and toe nail clipping on the dirty Lino. It was a king size bed with a double quilt on it . Went down stairs and said I wasn’t happy with the room the girl at reception said she will go and clean it . So we went out for 1 hour came back and she said could not find a quilt that would fit. I went and checked the room she had cleaned the carpet but there was more hair in the shower than before I went and asked for the manager the girl said why I’ve cleaned your room. Manager came down asked me to sit outside in the corridor and tell him the problem so I did he never said a word apart from il see what I can do .a bit later he asked me would il like to see a different room so I did it was much better. But the hotel is so run down the hall carpets need to be hoovered the dust everywhere is unbelievable. We had paid for breakfast I asked for a refund because I didn’t feel it was safe to eat there . We given a free drink as an apology. For the 5 days we were there my room was not cleaned once I had to go to reception and ask for the bins to emptied and more milk and coffee Ask for fresh towels not 1 day did they come in room to make the bed even. "

"Great hotel , we stayed in a superior double which was nice , food and drink was of good quality They did have a wedding and in the room we were in was above the DJ booth it seems so was louder than expected and the hotel staff did not help to solve this . "
