Self check in system was not properly functioned, first Expedia reservation number was not available, has to talk to people on phone to get different number, and the credit card machine was unable to work, has to sent another link to my mobile phone to use credit card. The room is small and no window. I will not recommend this hotel to others. The location is convenient, that is the only good thing.

This will be the last time to stay here

We booked this hotel based on the reviews and pictures, but in reality, it was completely different. The service overall was okay, except when we were about to check in; the staff started panicking because 3 or 4 groups were checking in at the same time. When we entered the room, the first thing we noticed was peeling wallpaper and damaged walls. Our initial impression was already negative. Moreover, we discovered further damage under the desk. The most unsatisfying part was finding little fleas or ants all over the desks. The shower door couldn't open or close properly. Overall, it was just a bad experience at this hotel. It was our first time here, and it will also be our last

The location of the hotel is super convenient - it is right off the train stop. The staff is friendly. Our room was dirty and moldy and the AC was just ok (it didn't seem cool enough to fully remove all of the humidity but it was fine for cooling the room somewhat). Our refrigerator was growing mold inside and didn't get cold. Our friend's room in the same hotel was much cooler so it probably was just our room. My daughters stayed in a separate room and their room had lightly reeked of cigarette smoke and was also quite dirty (don't look underneath the bed!). We didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel so I would say that it is fine for basic lodging needs but housekeeping could use a lot of improvement.

跟大家講的一樣冷氣不能調溫，很困擾，開著太冷關掉太燜熱，這一點就是給低分的主要原因，浴室排水太慢，每次洗頭都淹水，要等水排光才敢再開水，一進門自助入住沒問題，但訂四人房只給一張房卡不OK，一樓電梯、櫃台前還兩處滴水，唯一的優點就是離捷運站很近。

房間天花板上有黑黑的 浴室也有點髒 房間地板有凹陷 沒事先告知如何用電燈與電視開關 （電燈按扭不在牆上，後來才發現是在電燈桿子底下） 電視遙控也沒文字或櫃檯check in說明 按遙控,電視螢幕顯示「無訊號」

The Guide Hotel Taipei NTU was clean and quiet, and well located near the MRT station. The service was excellent - they went above and beyond to help us recover a beloved stuffed animal we had left behind.

Highs and lows in Taipei

We stayed 4 nights here. Although our room was very small and the floor and shower wall could use some maintenance, the hotel elevator was fast andcl the hotel is very close to the subway line. Shower pressure, temperature and intensity was great as was the mattress. Good value at an expensive time of year.
