Location of this hotel is excellent, very close to MRT, buses and shops. Although the rooms are a bit dated, we will come back to this hotel when we visit Taipei next time.

This hotel was one of the best stays that I ever had. Comfortable bed, large delicious breakfast, less than one block from the MRT, huge wet room, stunning 180 degree view from the 7th floor, free washer and dryer. I couldn’t ask for more!

Perfect affordable clean and updated rooms

We stayed at this hotel for a second time. We found it quite affordable, comfortable, updated and clean. 100% worthy. Standard rooms are a bit tight for two people, otherwise perfect for single use. Free laundry service. Breakfast or lounge area is great to use.

Worth every penny

It was a comfortable stay. Rooms are updated and nice, but on the smaller side. Wifi in rooms is poor, so go down to lobby for important and consistent connection. Overall, we were satisfied with this hotel and priced very reasonably.

Location: 2min to Mrt. Price: very reasonable compare to others hotels near Mrt. Cleanliness: Daily cleaning is done with no complaints Overall its a good stay, only cons is soundproofing is very bad..you can even hear it loud and clear when someone coughing 😅

Good place overall

Room size was good, shower was fine but I would have preferred that the shower curtain covered the whole tub. The lounge in the lobby was nice and there was a decent bar at the top floor (lots of craft beer in bottles but no draft beer). Walking distance (about 15 minutes) to Banqiao Station, where you can get the high speed and local trains. Overall, a pretty good place to stay.

My friends and I had a fantastic stay at the Merryday Hotel (Banqiao Branch)! The location was absolutely perfect—it made getting around the area so easy and convenient. We were also really impressed with the amenities, which were top-notch and provided everything we needed for a comfortable visit. A huge thank you to the staff; they were incredibly polite and helpful throughout our entire stay, making us feel welcome from the moment we checked in. One of the biggest highlights for us was the food! My friends and I were always looking forward to the breakfast every morning—it was delicious and the perfect way to start our day. I traveled from NYC with my husband and had a layover in Taiwan and so this hotel was just a cheap stop over for us. Our entire Taiwan experience was a bit weird - on our way to the hotel an earthquake happened and our taxi driver pulled over lol, when we got to Merryday guests were standing outside afraid to re-enter. We were so tired from the long flight we went upstairs but the downstairs area seems unkempt and gives motel vibe. The lobby area, however, was as expected. The rooms were different from what we were used to and the bed was for sure too small for my 6'1 husband so its nothing like uber terrible but nothing to write home about

Here’s a polished version of your hotel review: --- We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff was very welcoming and, even though there was a bit of a language barrier, they always did their best to accommodate our needs. The property itself was well kept and spotless — our room was tidy, fresh, and exceptionally clean. We especially loved having a balcony overlooking the mountains, which made the stay feel extra special. The included breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the staff was kind and helpful throughout Overall, we had a great experience and would happily recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay!
