Lovely room in a lovely boutique hotel. Clean, spacious, well appointed, and a great shower. 2-minute walk from the train station and a short walk to the historic quarter. Just be aware that they changed the checkout time to 10. (Some of their materials still say 11 and we had factored that into our plans.)

Only stayed 1 night and wouldn’t care to stay longer. Room is small and had an odour. Very basic hotel stay not worth the price; stayed in much nicer hotels in Japan for far less money. Upside is it’s located a few minutes walk to train station and 10 minute walk to Kurashiki Old Quarter.

The room was clean and well-kept, the staff were friendly, the location was convenient, and the breakfast was delicious. I’d definitely like to stay here again when I come to Kurashiki.
