Not worth the money

The place was really hard to find as there were indications in Japanese only. The sign was very small and since the name is quite long it was really hard to find at night. The staff was really nice but apart from that the place was not so. It was very old and the bathroom was quite dirty and smelled of cigarettes. The room was also not very well-kept and was small as every futon were placed right next to each other. The breakfast was ok but the food was cold. I have stayed in a lot of ryokan across Japan and this was not a really nice place, but again the staff was polite and friendly.

Le personnel sur place est vraiment gentil et serviable. Les chambres traditionnelles sont propres, spacieuses et confortables, tout comme le salon commun. Il y a des salles de bains dans chaque chambre (qui sont toute fois un peu vieillottes). Les 2 onsens (celui pour femme et celui qui switch de sexe dans la soirée) sont très bien entretenus, relaxants et agréables !

Family stay and disappointed

This is a huge hotel, with a very nice Onsen, but the facility is outdated and old, and not up to the Japanese standards of cleanliness (bugs everywhere in the hotel). The room was small, and the bathroom in the room was awful, its a plastic one piece bathroom (think of an airplane bathroom), even though you are supposed to use the Onsen for showering, it is still unpleasant. And there is no WIFI in the room (only in a designated lobby). We visited for over a month in Japan and this was by far the worst value for money.

夜の露天風呂が最高でした。 従業員の方の応対も非常に良かったと思います。 建物の古さはそういうものなので問題ないのですが、清潔さという点で一つだけ、部屋のユニットバスのカーテンなどのカビが気になりました。 しかし全体的に滞在には満足していますし機会があればまた利用させていただきたいと思います。

西館　宿泊者

西館に宿泊しました 5人部屋の和室は広く　窓の外に見える山も良い感じです 露天岩風呂も2種類楽しめました　大浴場のお風呂の「薬の湯」少し勇気がいりますが 飲んでみました。よい体験でした。 子供たちは無料の卓球を楽しんでいました。 足湯もありましたが、目の前に合掌つくりの家があり、のんびり楽しめました。 料理も美味しいですし、量も多かったです。 朝はパンが選べたりするともっとよかったかもです。 残念なのは室内のトイレの水の音がうるさい事 売店が小さい事くらいです。 お勧めできます。

スタッフの対応はとても丁寧で、ものすごく好感がもてました。旅館自体は古いのであちこち古さを感じますが、それも味があって良かったです。 ただ、お部屋にあった床置き型のエアコンの送風口が埃だらけで、持ってきたウエットティッシュで軽く拭きましたが、軽く拭いたぐらいでは取りきれないぐらい埃が付いてました。 また、温泉宿なのでお部屋のお湯を使う人が少ないせいなのか（私達もお部屋のシャワーは使いませんでした。）ぬるま湯が使いたくて、お湯の蛇口を回したら、蛇口の根元から黒い垢のような汚れが出てきました。 まるで何ヶ月も使われていなかったお部屋のようでした。 スタッフの対応がものすごく良かったので、お掃除が行き届いていなかったのが物凄く残念でした。

El hotel es ideal para descansar unos días y como base para visitar los Alpes japoneses. El onsen es fantástico. Además tiene encanto vintage. El desayuno con productos locales es de calidad y abundante. El personal del hotel es muy amable y se esfuerza por que tengas una buena estancia.
