Wondeful quiet place, a little aways from khao lak, like 20km so be prepared for an 700baht taxi ride. Staff was fantastic and restaurant was great. Beautiful rooms and environment.

Lovely pools but the main pool totally surrounded by rooms. Bungalow rooms are tired. No coffee making goodies but they did bring me the bare minimum when I asked. Towels and sheets threadbare. Cheap plastic bottles of water supplied. Restaurant hit or miss. Good location I guess. Within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and the market The staff were very helpful when asked. Would I stay here again? Probably not. The whole area is overrun with package deal families from Europe and very very overpriced

In a very short distance to the bungalows at pool side was a trainings center for Thai boxing which created an unimaginable noise which needs to wear ear protection headphones. This undisputable for a hotel which such high claim to quality and holiday resort and there is no single notice in the hotel description in internet. This are important circumstances for selection of a hotel resort to make relaxing holidays. This is a point for disqualification!!!

I stayed 2 separate nights. The first was in a building across the street. Unfortunately, the sheets & bedding were very dirty and had at least 6 hairs. Even after the linen was changed, I didn’t sleep due to constant itching. My second night was in a cleaner room and I slept fine. The employees were very kind and helpful.

My family and I was at this property 5 years ago and we love it so much so we decided to comeback. However, this property was in such poor conditions, so much that we decided to move to the new resort. Very dirty, stain on the sheet, AC was not cold, no food on the property. On Expedia website about this property was listed that they have all the amenities but for surcharges which we Plato use. They don’t have food, transportation, spa or anything that is listed. The person that chua in said “we have nothing but the room for you. This is LOW SEASON” We have reservation from July 8th to July 14th. We left this property on July 10th due to all of the above listed. They used to viewing spot that you can see the water. Not any more. They closed up that part and you will have to walk about 10-15 minute the near by beach with is next to Ramada resort. I contacted Expedia customer service chat line and told them about all of this but they said no refund. This will be the last time I will use this site due to lack of transparency. They allow this hotel to give faults information and would not take any responsibility. I wish Fanari resort the best of luck and hope they make it in this industry.

Wir waren schon 7 Jahre davor hier. Seitdem hat sich doch einiges geändert. Das Hotel ist grundsätzlich ruhig. Diesmal jedoch waren Gäste da, die keine Rücksicht auf andere nahmen. Wir mussten leider das Personal einschalten und um Rücksicht bitten. Einige Tage waren Personen im Pool die nicht zum Hotel gehörten. Das ist nicht in Ordnung. Warum dürfen fremde Personen (vermutlich Freunde oder Familie von einem Gast) ins Hotel?? Frühstück haben wir nicht gebucht, da es vor 7 Jahren schon sehr karg war. Kaffee (im Sackerl) haben wir erst nach Rückfrage bekommen. Dann auch nur mehr 2stk am Tag. Früher konnten wir uns mehr Kaffee am Tag machen. Die Zimmer sind eher abgenutzt. Preisleistung ist hier nicht mehr gerechtfertigt. Da bekommt man was schöneres für das Geld. Die Dusche ist sehr sehr abgenutzt. Kein Platz für Utensilien wenn man zu dritt oder sogar zu viert dort ist. Das Bett wird zwar jeden Tag gemacht , aber nach einer Woche wäre ein Tausch der Wäsche angebracht. (Wir waren 17 Tage dort...) Die Terrassentür lässt sich sehr schwer schließen. Das Pool hatte ihre gute Zeit auch schon lange hinter sich. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und bemüht sich. Achtet jedoch nicht wirklich auf fremde Personen. Unser Zimmernachbar aus Deutschland hat ein lautes Organ und hat seine neue thailändische Familie im Hotel zu Besuch(keine zahlende Gäste!!). Nicht in Ordnung. Für ein oder zwei Tage für durchreisende ist das Hotel nutzbar. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt eher woanders buchen

Mangler en del for at imponere

Slidt hotel. Lugtede forfærdeligt på badeværelset af kloak under hele opholdet. Meget skimmelsvamp i brusekabinen. Forfærdelig hård seng og puder. Aircon virker delvist. Pool stor og ren. Billig minibar og normal rengøring ok. Dog var der gamle møl pubber hængende i loftet, som rengøring åbenbart aldrig gad fjerne. Mange myg på hele området.

Dejligt mindre hotel i 2 afdelinger

Dejligt ophold i bungalow og adgang til en hyggelig, idyllisk pool omkranset af bungalows. Hjælpsomt, imødekommende og altid venligt personale. Beliggende i fin afstand til marked, restauranter og barer i byen og tæt ved havet, men ligger i dejlig roligt område. Vi kan varmt anbefale stedet og det er vort 2. besøg

Dejligt ophold i Khao Lak

Dejligt mindre hotel med en god beliggenhed. Tæt på havet og 10 min til restauranter, marked og liv. Venligt og hjælpsom personale. 2 pools og altid en plads ledig ved poolen. Lidt slidt badeværelse, men til at leve med. Alt i alt et godt udgangspunkt for et besøg i Khao Lak.

Bon rapport qualité prix

Hotel sympa, belle piscine mais un peu profonde pour les moins de 1,60. Toutes les chambres ont vu sur la piscine. Les plages à proximité peu praticables car plus de sable mais des rochers. Les chambres sont grandes. Il y a de temps en temps des petits lézards. Le petit dej est complet. On peux commander à manger de 11h30 jusqu’à 16h30 au bord de la piscine, c’est top. Bon rapport qualité prix.

Har boet her X flere altid følt mig velkommen og ja stedet trænger til en lille kær hånd men atmosfære gør man kan overse det, ville gerne have fået besked før om at restaurant ikke var åben, personalet hjælper gerne med take-away hvis behov for men savnede den dejlige morgenmad. Personalet var det samme som jeg altid mødt og de genkende mig, lidt som at “komme hjem”! Vender gerne tilbage men i høj sæsons 😀

Nice location both to beach and Main Street

Nice hotel close to beach. Easy to park car and walk to Main Street. Bungalow by pool was nice. You can easily order food to be served at the pool. Good wi-fi.

Nem a legjobb választás...

Nem szóltak a renitens (iszákos, éjfélkor ordítozó, ajtókat csapkodó, vagy éppen éjjel 10-kor medencébe ugráló gyerekek) vendégeknek semmiért. Ráadásul a hotel úgy volt meghirdetve, hogy gyerekvendéget nem fogad, ehhez képest sok volt a gyerek, akikre viszont a szüleik sem szóltak rá. Csak kerülővel lehet lejutni a tengerpartra, ami viszont időnként igencsak hagy kívánnivalót maga után... A reggeli választék szegényes, piperecikkekből csak egy elég fura szagú sampon és tusfürdő van (elhiszem, hogy fontos a mindkét nemnek való megfelelőség, de inkább rossz szagú volt, mint semleges), valamint zuhanysapka és fülpiszka. Kézmosó szappan nincs, azt venni kellett. A meghirdetett papucs gumipapucs, ami hiába is fertőtlenítik, nem higiénikus. A takarítás csak amolyan "ahol a papok is táncolnak" módszerrel történt, sok helyen ott voltak a bakatollak (pl.szék lábára ragadva). A hotelhez tartozó étterem nagyon drága, ellenben minőségen aluli.
