We stayed here for FSU Parents’ Weekend, as our hotel options were limited. When you first walk in, the hotel looks clean. It is a converted old hotel. It is the definition of “putting lipstick on a pig.” There was a strong “air freshener” smell through out. This noxious smell was so strong and hard to breathe. We believe it was hiding a mold and mildew smell, as mold was visible in the room. The paint on the ceiling was peeling off throughout. This should not happen in a hotel that was remodeled and reopened 3 years ago. The bathroom was filthy and not remediated after reporting it daily and showing pictures. Multiple staff members did not seem to care. The floors and walls are very thin. You hear all the foot traffic above you and the conversations in adjoining rooms.

After driving for 5 hours we got to this hotel and was told they couldn’t find a reservation for us. I had confirmation number from Expedia but the hotel claimed they were never sent the reservation and then we were informed they were sold out and couldn’t give us a room.

Our room smelt like wet dog when we got there, but after driving for awhile we chose to overlook that. The mini split rattled ALL NIGHT LONG, and the room got to hot when we turned it off. I have photos showing it barely hanging on the wall. The shower floor was black and dirty, and the smoke detector kept beeping all night. Would not stay here again
