Our stay at the Tamarack Resort was above and beyond anything we expected. I booked it through Hotels.com and we were blown away by the unit we stayed in - San Miguel 301, if anyone wants to know. Absolutely fabulous!! We were there during off-season so a lot of the shops and restaurants were not open, but we did have dinner at The Reserve and it was wonderful. Delicious food, drink and our server Vicki B. made it extra special and enjoyable. We also had services at the Spa and thought they were very good.
You absolutely exceeded my expectations. What a wonderful hotel, fantastic room, everything about this trip was so easy. My daughter and I had such a good time that I’m hopefully coming back next week with my husband. Staff was wonderful, thank you all very much!
We went while it was off season and for a wedding. The place was peaceful, quiet, and enjoyable. Wished some of the shops were open longer but still fun to walk around and fun places to eat at nesr the resort.
We Stay here approximately 3 times A Year. Always clean and comfortable It seems every year it gets better with upgrades. Next time we will definitely bring our golf clubs and try the on site course.
For the money, tamarack resort is probably the greatest ski destination in the country? If you like low crowds, convenience, beauty, and great snow, this is the place!
We stayed in the Megeve building, room 320. The unit was beautiful and well-equipped. My only complaint is the lack of insulation between us and unit about us. Someone running, stomping and moving stuff. It continued well past midnight one night. My husband almost went to knock on their door. Otherwise, we were very happy with our stay!

Would like a heated pool in winter plus more hot tubs
Needed black out drapes in room
We were attending bike races. While the resort was beautiful it had its limitations. Very few restaurants were open, also the shops weren’t all open. I understand it’s not their busy season, but there were over 500 people attending the races. We were expecting food vendors, or even food trucks. We had to drive 30 minutes to another town for restaurants and groceries. Convenient for watching the races, but not for other things.
We were disappointed, only 1 restaurant was open. The resort was like a ghost town. I am sure it is lovely in the winter for skiing but I would not stay here in the summer.
The reception desk had no idea if any restaurants were open. We walked into the pizza place that they actually were acting like they were closed but it was supposed to be open for another hour and the guy that worked there told us he didn't want to make the type of pizza we wanted if we were only going to purchase a couple pieces, he said if we wanted pizza we would have to have the one he had sitting out.

Want to love it, but...
This was our second stay here. Last time was in October, and it was a ghost town. We thought it was because it was fall and in between the busy summer and ski seasons. This stay was in late June and the place is still deserted. The promise is there, but it will take some time to rise from the bankruptcy and realize it's full potential. Until then, many amenities are closed (spa, pool, golf course, etc.) so there's not to do at the hotel itself. Saying prayers things turn around soon because I could really see this place being awesome!
Beautiful property, It would have been nice if it were fully open, but due to COVID, I don't feel we got the full experience. But we did enjoy the perks included with our stay like the chairlift ride and use of kayaks. This place will be amazing once it's more completed. I loved it.
We stayed in the king suite with kids. Room is roomy, couch -sofa still leaves enough space. Groomers start early morning so that will wake you up. Tiny kitchenette has more than we needed with dining choices available at the resort just 5 minutes away.
The hot spa outside is wonderful after full day on the slopes.
Little disappointed with service, room cleaning came at 5 pm when we all relaxed after skiing and really didn’t want to move.
We did however received all we needed for next day.
We visited in between their busy seasons - so many of the resort amenities were not available notably the bike rentals and onsite restaurant. But the room was fabulous, and we drove into town about 6 miles for a great dinner. We had a room with a full kitchen and brought food for other meals during our two day stay. Great hiking around what used to be the golf course (no longer being maintained) and there were trails leading into the mountains. It was a beautiful time to be there, 4/20-4/21 2018. We will definitely go back during ski season!
There were clothes left in the drawers and the coffee pot had coffee crums in it, which indicates the room wasn't thoroughly inspected prior to our stay.
An entertaining overnight stay. Clean, large rooms and a underground parking space to keep you out of the cold. The employees were helpful and friendly.
