"Great location, secure self parking, helpful staff. Rooms were clean and functional, but don’t expect fancy, high-end touches. Great value for your money though, I’d return for sure. We didn’t try on location restaurant as there are plenty of options nearby."

"The room was spacious and clean. Staff was pleasant and very helpful when needed. Especially loved the guy who manages the valets. Breakfast had something for everyone. The bar was a popular spot. We loved the location and its proximity to Riverwalk, restaurants etc. My husband’s only complaint is they could provide a better iron and ironing board but that doesn’t deserve a demerit. They had a water station downstairs with plain water and water with lemon which served me well as I forgot to bring my water supply. Our room overlooked the pool which guests appeared to be enjoying. The floor of the pool looked like it would benefit from a paint job. Must be well-used. Again, not a reason for a demerit. Would definitely stay here again."

"We’ve stayed here before and like the hotel’s location relative to the places we like to walk and trolly to. Also their hotel staff and breakfast is always great. During this particular stay though, we ran into some remodeling that is currently going on in and around each floors of the center atrium area which frankly wasn’t a big deal. What did become a genuine inconvenience was when 2 to 3 out of the 4 elevators were consistently out of service during different times of our 3 day/ 2 night stay. We got lucky most of the times getting into one but on one occasion, we ended up walking down 19 flights of stairs after waiting almost 20 minutes. The one working elevator was full every time by the time it came up to our floor and it didn’t help that there was also a convention going on the same weekend we were staying there which I know exacerbated the elevator issue since the hotel was at full capacity, yet all in all, it was a very pleasant stay so we’ll be back again to stay at the Hilton Embassy Suites in Downtown Tampa in the future. Btw, their on site restaurant called Taste was a big hit for us on our second night. The burgers, dogs and fries were great."
