"When I arrived to check in, the hotel was experiencing a power outage. It was already evening, and for about an hour there was no electricity, no air conditioning, and no working room keys. The staff kindly provided me with a table lamp, but I still had to shower in the dark, which was far from the experience I expected.
The property itself is beautiful, and I can tell it would have been a great stay under normal circumstances. Unfortunately, the power outage and the disruption to the check-in process prevented me from fully enjoying the hotel. The staff offered me a complimentary drink, which I appreciated, but it didn’t really make up for the significantly reduced experience, especially considering I paid the full room rate."
