Really nice. Lovely quirky room, great location, staff were great, nice bar downstairs, couldn’t fault it. Steep steps up to my room which I was Ok with but if you have mobility issues you should mention. But I’d 100% recommend this place.
Lovely little hotel in the centre of Tamworth, great breakfast and fantastically helpful and friendly staff.
We love staying here, free parking is an added bonus.
We stayed here for a family reunion party !

Room is clean, well maintained and very comfortable. Bathroom facilities are excellent. The restaurant, Christopher's, is superb. Wonderful food, chef and staff.
Stayed for one night whilst working in the area. All the hotel staff were very pleasant ,friendly and welcoming. The room was a reasonable size with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom along with good WIFI connection. The food in the bar / restaurant was very nice and reasonably priced. The cooked to order breakfast was very nice too.

The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Room 18 was incredibly hot & I was kept awake by a generator or some such noise outside my room even with the windows closed. I preferred the courtyard room I stayed in last time & will ask for this in future.
Nice courtesy call on our way there to check wecwere still coming due to poor weather. Room was perfect and had everything we needed. Breakfast not included for us but was competitively priced. Lovely helpful staff too. We stayed 2 nights and our room was serviced in between. No problems here.

Having eaten at Christopher's (excellent), I thought it only reasonable to expect the same high standards in the adjoining hotel - sadly not. The lady who checked me in was friendly and thorough but the accomodation felt tired and in need of some TLC in terms of decor and ambience. Lovely bed and bedding but poor quality / old towels and shower mat (all were frayed). No rubber mat available which meant the shower floor was very slippy however the toiletries were nice. It was a very hot couple of days and the fans were much appreciated but it was necessary to open the windows to get a flow of air - not easily done and it was then incredibly noisy due to the traffic (not the hotel's fault). I would have shared these comments on checking out but I was not asked how my stay was...
Great location for my event, but this hotel needs a refresh. Room is very dated and was extremely hot. Couldn't open a window and a fan was not available. Shower wouldn't stay at a usable temperature.
