“No restaurant is on site and no kitchen facilities available which makes life a little challenging. Business room with sea view was amazing on the terrace but the staircase is not ideal when you go in the bedroom door.”

“Our stay at il Giardinetto was on a Saturday for a cruise that left the next day. It was very conveniently located near many restaurants and a 15 min walk to the port entrance. Lorenzo was a fabulous host. Luckily he caught a discrepancy in Google maps that would have led us into a restricted area of the port. Super safe and bustling area.”

“I do not recommend! There is no way to access the property until 3pm, no place to stow luggage if you are getting off a cruise ship in the morning. No staff at all ever at the property, just an email with access instructions that is sent just before 3pm.”

“The code for the door didn’t work and although we were told 10 minutes wait we had to wait over one hour to get in. The listed phone numbers for taxis were disconnected or not for a taxi. We had to walk over 2 km to the port with our luggage. Probably won’t stay here again.”

“The host Peter was very helpful. He made sure we had what we needed and answered all our questions. The room is tucked away behind an unassuming gate. You have to know where you are going to find it. Peter met us there and showed us around. While not the Taj Mahal the room was clean, a good size and very adequate for our needs.
