The room is good, but in the bed room wi-fi was very weak. The staff was very kind and friendly. At the expedia laundry can used but I could not use it.

Charming, spacious 2 room with great food in the restaurant. Very helpful staff, loved it here. Very close to Baltic Defense College.

In der Villa ist die Zeit stehengeblieben. wunderbar, wie das Ende der Belle Epoque hier nachgelebt wird. Auch die jungen Damen leben diese Zeit in ihrer Kleidung. Die Auswahl der Speisen war regional, optisch und geschmacklich hervorragend. Das Frühstücksbufett war ebenfalls liebevoll gestaltet und mit regionalen Spezialitäten bestückt. Negativ: Bei warmer Außentemperatur Tendenz zur Sauna in den Zimmern.

Wonderful little gem near the heart of Tartu

Friendly personnel, very cute hotel with country home atmosphere, nice rooms with comfortable beds (flat floor shower easily flooded though); breakfast is rich and offers a well prepared selection of continental, English style, and local foods. In walking distance from city and conference center.

Viihtyisä pieni Villa

Kiva pieni Villa idyllisessä puutalokorttelissa, kohtuullisen kävelymatkan päässä keskustasta. Aina vähän jännittää nämä pienet majoituspaikat, mutta tämä Villa Margaretha oli positiivinen yllätys. Mukava rauhallinen sijainti ja hyväkuntoiset huoneet. Meillä oli kaksitasoinen juniori, jossa oli oma kylpyhuone. Auto saatiin pihalle ja suoraan oven eteen, mikä helpotti naapurimaasta hankittujen juomien kantamista suojaan auringon paahteelta :D Henkilökunta on hyvin ystävällinen ja iso plussa siitä. Aamupala oli ok - yhtenä aamuna tahtoi tarjottava loppua ennen nälkää. Ylisummaan tämä majapaikka sekä myös Tartu kaupunkina olivat hyvin positiivinen kokemus.

This is an old wooden building. It was extremely hot. There was a fan in the room but it did not do much. The location is good as well as the breakfast. Friendly staff commited to help.

This is a quaint hotel that will certainly appeal to a lot of people. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The layout and stairs might be a problem for people with mobility difficulties. The dining room had limited hours and the next closest restaurants are 0.5-1 km away. Travellers should be aware that sidewalk clearing in winter is not as complete as is common in North American. Beware, the sidewalks can be very icy. This obviously is not the hotel's responsibility. We enjoyed our stay.

Very pretty room and hotel but gets uncomfortable in a hot weather, it was v hot out, no AC and opening windows did not help much as both windows are on the same side of the room. I recommend staying during cooler weather as we found it hard to fall asleep in such a hot and stuffy room

Echt niet wat we hadden verwacht

De kamer had: -geen fohn -geen waterkoker -geen koelkast -uitzicht op een trap naar een hogere verdieping, kamer nr 7 -we konden mensen op de kamer naast ons horen praten. -om de kamer te bereiken moesten we een steile trap op, niet handig met de bagage.

We cannot fault the warm and accommodating service of the staff at this property. They made us very welcome. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. As we visited during a very warm period, the addition of air conditioning or fans would have been good. The hotel is not in the city centre, but only a short walk will get you there. Recommend it.

Good Central Location at Good Price

Beautiful, historic inn. While it was a little awkward to have to exit the main building to access our building, and negotiate the circular staircase with our luggage, it was a lovely building, and we enjoyed our every minute there. The staff was so helpful and friendly. The University, the museums and historical sights were all within walking distance. We didn't have to use the car. When it came time to eat, their food was the best.
