"This hotel is excellent. Absolutely beautiful and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The only issue we had was that the Wi-Fi in our room was giving us a very poor signal. "

"Very clean and well maintained hotel. Staff very professional and helpful. Created by everyone during interactions, check in, maintenance, housekeeping, and cook at breakfast. I literally checked in walking downtown, and the room was ready by the time I walked to the hotel. "

"The hotel is situated in the centre of Tavira on the river front and just opposite the ferry to Tavira Island. Lots of good restaurants close by. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable, however my bathroom and shower was a little small, but this was only a small issue. The breakfast was good and provided a good start to the day."

"It is a very beautiful fazenda and a great region. Close to Olhao and Tavira and the beaches. The house and the rooms are beautifully furnished and have all the things one needs to be comfortable.
The service is not there yet (or not anymore as it changed the owner). The breakfast is quit poor and has no variety and there is extra charge for the eggs, pancakes and so on. I never experienced that in Portugal. The pool area is nice but needs some work as well as the parking lot on which the...

"The drive up to the resort is an adventure in itself. Winding roads through the hills until suddenly you’re in this peaceful hideaway overlooking Tavira’s countryside. It already feels special before you even arrive.
What really made our stay unforgettable though was Fransisco. He’s one of the kindest, most genuine people we’ve ever met while traveling. From the moment we got there, he made us feel completely at home. He wasn’t just a host, more like a friend who truly cares that you have the...

"We enjoyed our 3-night stay at the resort. The check-in was seamless and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend renting a vehicle, as the resort is quite aways from dining (other than resort options). Parking in the outside parking lot was free, as well as street parking. Parking underground was 12 euros per night. In October, we had no trouble finding a spot outside. The room was in the smaller side, but neat, clean and comfortable. Yes, there were a few ants in the bathroom, but it was understandable given the somewhat remote location close to nature. I would recommend bringing insect repellant, even in October, if you plan to eat outside in the evenings. The breakfasts were pretty good, with lots of options. We had the dinner buffet the first night for 29 euros per person - but for every other lunch and dinner, we went into Tavira or Faro. There were much better options with 4.8/5.0 reviews on google that were tastier and less expensive. If you have a choice, eat outside the resort. That being said, we would definitely stay here again. We did the yoga and the paddle boarding and enjoyed both activities. The yoga was very basic and certainly no comparison to yoga in any major North American city, but the beach was lovely. The paddleboards were the inflatable kind but I got the opportunity to work on my balance and their drag made sure I got a workout in. The resort is comparable to a 4.5 star resort in Mexico."
"We loved the restoration of the old existing structure alongside the stunning extension to the rear. From entering the hotel there is a true welcoming check in.
The decor is exquisite and provides a serene ambience.
Staff are very helpful and respectful to all our requests.
The gardens and the pot plants throughout the exterior of the hotel are calming to the mind. The therapist Christina in the wellness centre was excellent and provided me with a very positive experience at the Luma Wellness Centre.
The housekeeping staff were very attentive and our room and terrace were immaculately clean to a high standard.
We loved the pool/beach bag provided and the coffee maker in the room.
Breakfast was to a high standard and we loved the menu options served to the table.
We loved the food in the restaurant, its presentation and the staff and manager’s attentiveness during our dining experience."
"4star experience, we could check-in early and relax at the rooftop, the best: free pastries and tea offered all day, rooms large and nicely furbished, excellent restaurant Coisa Linda only 2min walk away, 2min walk to Pingo Doce supermarket and 5min walk to city center, super nice staff"
"The only item I can say wasn't 100% to my satisfaction was the water pressure in the shower. I know I'm nitpicking. The breakfast was wonderful and there were so many different cheeses to try (7? 8?) and breads to choose from. "
"A nice quiet location, train station and bus stop just down the road. Apartment was clean and together although some of the cupboards in the kitchen needed lifting to close and there wasn't any cleaning supplies (washing up liquid, clothes/sponges or coffee).
Had ants or some small creature that got into the kitchen and ruined the bread left out, needed to keep the kitchen spotlessly clean and food in the fridge overnight."

What really made our stay unforgettable though was Fransisco. He’s one of the kindest, most genuine people we’ve ever met while traveling. From the moment we got there, he made us feel completely at home. He wasn’t just a host, more like a friend who truly cares that you have the best experience possible. He gave the absolute best recommendations for restaurants and things to see, plus the special opportunity to be the first harvesters of his new garden on site.
The suite was spotless, beautifully designed, and had that cozy, eco-friendly charm that makes you instantly relax. And then there’s the infinity pool, the views are insane. Sitting out there, surrounded by silence and mountains, felt unreal.
And we can’t forget the dogs. They were the sweetest, happiest companions during our stay, full of personality, playful, and always around to brighten your day. They added so much warmth to the whole experience.
We came here looking for peace and a break from the noise, and we left with so much more: real connection, great memories, and a reminder of how good people and good places can make you feel.
If you’re considering staying here , just do it. Between Francisco, the location, and the dogs, this was one of the best travel experiences we’ve ever had. "
