“The hotel is an old hotel. The room has brown stuff on bathroom wall, carpets were nasty, under the bed had empty bottles, can, trash, food pieces. ”

Even the designated IHG member spaces were chaotic and difficult to access. Upon arrival, it took several minutes for anyone at the front desk to acknowledge me—despite the clear sound of me saying “excuse me.” The front desk associate was visibly occupied watching something on her phone in the back room. “The place was packed due to a concert at MAC. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The bed and pillows were awesome. It was the best night's sleep I had all week (our Airbnb had a very firm/uncomfortable bed ) on this overnight stop towards home. They did run out of biscuits at breakfast due to the crowd from the concert, but I improvised with gravy on toast. ”

“I was woken up at little past midnight to being bitten by a bed bug. I informed the front desk immediately. The man at the counter was apologetic but could not help me in other way except to offer to place my clothes in a dryer. I left immediately!! Had to find another hotel in the middle of the night in Kentucky. It was a horrible experience!”
