โThe kitchen was disgusting. All surfaces, cupboards, appliances and utensils were dirty and sticky and it was obvious that none of it had ever been properly cleaned. We have eaten out every day because of it. Also the temperature in the appartement was hot, the airconditioning / thermostate did not work.โ
โSelf check in near to midnight worked seamlessly. Very short walk from the train station, centrally situated a short walk to the university, cathedral, harbour. Lots of cafes, shopping, very safe. Hostel was warmly heated so, very comfortable in cold January. Bathrooms clean, bed very comfortable and bedding clean. Hostel has a small kitchen if needed and there is a communal hairdryer stored there. too.โ
โReceptionist Peter was truly marvelous in providing us the service. If it was not for him we would not have enjoyed nice spa and swimming pool there. Absolutely amazing service and professionalism. Will definitely come again to Helsinki, just for this hotel.โ
