“I had a great stay at Royal Beach Hikkaduwa. Room was very clean and staff was very friendly. View from the hotel was just amazing. Just in front of the main surf point and you can watch surfers every evening while enjoying a cold beer. Food at their Lumina beach restaurant and bar was excellent. I had cocktails also. “Wir verbringen gerade einige Tage in der Villa Alba. Es ist eines der schönsten Hotels, in denen ich je war! Das offene Design, mitten in der Natur, eins mit der Umgebungen und den dort lebenden Tieren - es ist einmalig. Es ist total ruhig gelegen aber trotzdem nicht weit zum Stadtkern. “Nice clean rooms and attentive staff, pool was heated and the location was walkable into certain surf spots; sticks, and marshmallow. Only issues is that the bathroom was slightly broken, sink was loose and shower door dragged. The staff we not familiar with Expedia payments, but this is common for the island as most hotels don’t like the idea of not being paid cash. This was sorted eventually but remember to show your payment receipt on check in. ”
