"I stayed here over a year ago and it was pleasant......things were way different this time. We were given a room with a non-flushing toilet. Assumed it was just low water pressure but that was not the case. We called the front desk and was asked to come get a plunger.....that was embarrassing. That did not fix the problem so basically we had to use the restroom on the 1st floor........the room initially smelled; the bathtub did not drain unless you put something to hold up the stopper and there were pretzels on the floor (apparently it was not vacuumed)......breakfast was the only good thing.......Not sure if management changed during this time or what but I was highly disappointed."

"The staff were so WONDERFUL! I had last minute changes and the staff were so sweet and helpful to get my updates made and accommodate my extra travelers. Janie kept in touch and made sure everything was taken care of. Monica made sure our stay was everything we needed and was always available! Breakfast was amazing, and the host was so good my group! JC was so welcoming when we arrived SUPER late that Friday evening, but made sure we were met with kindness and friendly service. BEST STAY EVER! Made new friends at the lobby bar even! Had a marvelous time getting to tour TAMUCC with my daughter and we can't wait to come back. Will be using this hotel for every Corpus Christi stay! Thank you!!!"

"We were greeted by trash thrown all over the stairs that we had to walk around to get to our 2nd floor room. It was mostly empty which was comfortable. Ice machines were all broken so if you stay here, spring for the room with he fridge & microwave. Toilet was crooked & at a weird angle so you couldn’t sit comfortably. I only booked here bec breakfast is listed as an amenity but it was abysmal. There was only bagels & toast for food. The coffee maker had fruit flies all over the drip catcher. The pool was green so don’t expect to swim at all. The room smelled extremely musty like it had a leak. The ac was very cold tho so that was appreciated. There was a $50 deposit to stay there. This hotel is only fit for homeless people or street activities."

"Have stayed 5 mos here 3 yrs ago. Same great staff, I also work strange hrs so request top floor for less noise and have always been accommodated. Updated and roads improved/ improving in the area. Newer competitors are offering lower prices. Wish you would Competematch/beat?"

"Rooms were dirty, carpet everywhere in the hall ways and especially by elevator disgusting. No blinds on window. Roaches in shower. I’ll be honest I’ve it takes a lot for me to complain. I e been using Expedia for my services. And there not doing a good job on quality control with there vendors."
