“A wonderful stay over before catching the Islay ferry next morning. We loved the common rooms and patios, with other guests ready to meet you and talk. The dining room is a beautiful hlassed-in room with a great view and food. LOVED the local mussels! Our room was in the newer section, comfortable bed and roomy bath. Only complaint was that the bathtub plug wouldn't seal, so I couldn't take a bath. The staff were so accomodating. We would definitely come back again!”

“This facility was a very pleasant surprise. Big beautiful room, nice harbor room, clean and comfortable. Too bad we only stayed one night. First time guests might be surprised to find no staff on site when checking in. We passed by the entrance at first look because of its innocuous door and recessed signage. “This is an older property so don’t expect “modern boutique” style accommodation. The room was clean with nice sea view and the bed comfortable. The room was a bit warm (though that was when Scotland was having a bit of a heatwave - so probably not a common problem!). We had dinner in the Restaraunt and it was excellent. The final part of the road to Crinan is quite narrow which, while it adds to the anticipation, could be challenging if you are unlucky to meet a lot of cars on the single...
