We loved staying here! However, the rooms are dated which was not an issue for us as we enjoyed the quaintness of it all. If one thing could be changed we would request that families be in a separate area for dining, particularly in the evenings when you're wanting a quiet, romantic meal together.

This is one of my favorite hotels in all the world. Breakfast and dinner are outstanding. The ambience is lovely. The people are so nice. If you're looking for huge and glitzy this may not be for you. This is more like going home to visit your sweet family.

Wonderful staff and the restaurant as well as the proximity to the beach and Keukenhof was excellent. What stood out to me was how quiet this is situated in a Dutch neighborhood. I loved it.

Would not recommend. "non-smoking" property had ashtrays on every deck. No air-conditioning. Had to open deck door to get fresh air, which wasn't fresh as guests smoking on decks. Disgusting. Room was small and cramped, and hallways had unpleasant odor. Staff entered our room while Do Not Disturb sign was on door. Double room was 2 twin beds pushed together. Kept getting wedged between beds. Very disappointed.

We had excellent service by the front desk personnel and from our waiter, Amor, during our stay. The dining room presents well and the meals were excellent. The room in which we stayed showed many signs of wear over the years, and is in need of some renovation or even cosmetic attention. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well each night. The ability to rent e-bikes from the hotel was a big plus which we took advantage of, so that we could tour through the dunes and along the blooming tulip fields. Be sure to check out the binder with numerous bike routes that you can take if you choose to stay at this hotel.

Hotel ist stark renovierungsbedürftig - alles veraltet und nicht gewartet. Die Sauberkeit in allen Räumlichkeiten war kathastrophal. Gereinigt wurde teilweise nur nach Aufforderung. Frühstück war sehr einfach, nicht abwechslungsreich. Für uns passt das Preisleistungsverhältnis in keinster Weise. Schön wäre es gewesen wenn man sich hätte auf Deutsch verständigen können. Wir empfehlen das Hotel nicht weiter und werden auch nicht mehr buchen. Positive Bewertungen können wir nicht nachvollziehen.

Ich hatte ein Zimmer für 1 Nacht im hinteren Gebäude. Ein in die Jahre gekommener Bau. Aber auch da kann man ja die Fenster vputzen und von Spinnweben befreien... An der badtür war das Holz abgesplittert, auf dem Tv-Regal noch ein Kaffeefleck... Lage sehr ruhig. Aufgangg in die Dünen vom Haus aus.

Wir waren sehr enttäuscht, da dieses wunderschöne Hotel sehr in die Jahre gekommen ist und dringend renoviert werden müsste. Die Fenster waren sehr schmutzig, der Verputz bröckelte an vielen Stellen. Unser Badfenster war so kaputt, dass man es weder öffnen noch richtig schließen konnte.Unser Türschliss war bereits am ersten Tag defekt, aber uns wurde versucht einzureden, es sei in Ordnung. Niemand war verantwortlich , das Schloss zu reparieren. Schließlich kam der Koch aus der Küche und reparierte es am dritten Tag!

Die Unterkunft ansich war ganz gut. Das Zimmer war groß und hat für die 2 Nächte gereicht. Personal war nett. Abendessen im Restaurant war sehr lecker. Aber man sollte reservieren, da man sonst zweitrangig bedient wird (hatte man uns auch gesagt). Aber: - Personal sprach kein deutsche (war für uns jetzt ok, aber hätte ich irgendwie erwartet). - In unserem Zimmer liefen ständig Ameisen über den Schreibtisch. Leider konnten wir nicht ausmachen woher diese kamen. - Frühstück kostet pro Person 18,50 Euro. Für die Auswahl absolut überteuert. - generell empand ich den Preis für 2 Nächte inkl. Frühstück sehr teuer. Da es aber spontan war hat man kurzfristig nichts anderes gefunden.

Het deel van het gebouw waar wij sliepen is duidelijk gedateerd. Maar het was schoon, het personeel was vriendelijk en gastvrij en leek het onderling ook goed te hebben. Het ontbijt en de maaltijd in het restaurant waren heerlijk. We hebben genoten!
