“Great pub, exceptionally clean, comfortable and modern rooms and super friendly staff. As a bonus, the food is of a very high standard and the Guinness was decent. Can’t fault this place in any way, stopped here to be in the area for the snooker at the Crucible in Sheffield, it was a 20 minute taxi ride from here to Sheffield Town Centre. As Arnie said….. I’ll be back 😂”

“The house is a very unique house with a deep history set in extensive formal gardens. The staff, particularly in reception and the Restaurant are attentive and very pleasant. The age and design of the house allows functions such as weddings and prom parties to be held without disturbing other guests. It may be a little dog-eared but that seems to add to its charm.”

“Tried to review taking into account the price. It was a good location to break the journey. I arrived very late, reception lady helped me take bags to room as no lift. Very big room. Run down but clean and warm. Big bathroom with bath clean Thing i didnt like on leaving the cleaners looked like a family man wife and kid opened my door no english, didnt like the way they were not knocking wouldn't have felt safe. I asked the way out, asked if they spoke english and the kid young boy insulted...

“The photo in the review is not the apartment we stopped in. The apartment we stopped in is definitely getting a little tired with a few repairs required however it has everything you want and nothing you don’t need. Would recommend for those transiting through Mansfield. The area (given I grew up there) is one of the better areas of Mansfield and the property is gated so nice and secure.”
