“Are warm and friendly welcome on arrival. Our room was large and had all the comforts we needed good selection of tea/coffee/hot chocolate and biscuits large bed lovely clean and soft towels. It’s a 15th century building with flipping floors low ceilings etc but that just added to the charm. We had a drink in the bar and it was clearly a pub used by the locals who made us feel welcome. “It’s a lovely place to stay if you like walking a lot. It’s a short drive to local places of interest. The hosts are lovely and very accommodating. The ladder up to the bedroom is quite a quirky feature. Overall it’s a lovely cosy base to explore from.”

“Beautiful place, with excellent staff. We were unluckily because they celebrate weddings and we arrive with a wedding on-going. The music was fine (not too loud) the guest were fine, normal noise for a wedding. The kids fron the wedding were under our window, playing shouting and screaming (normal for kids) but it was very late night and very early morninig so we did not have too much rest. We will come back but we will make sure is not a wedding day.”
