“Had a wonderful couple of nights at 8 Owls in Glastonbury. Lilija was super responsive and helpful, the room was clean and spacious, and the location next to the High Street and all the shops was great for us. Loved all of the Owls and other details around the property and the terrace at the top was a great bonus. Would definitely stay again.”

“The location was absolutely brilliant as it's so central although be aware that this is a lively pub so if you want a quiet stay it's maybe not for you. I went with a friend and we loved every minute, so much so that we're going to make it a yearly visit. Our rooms were clean with very comfortable beds, the staff are, without exception, super friendly, as is the Manager. We can definitely recommend the breakfast as it's wonderful!”

“We stayed two nights, in the cottage at the side of the inn. 2 rooms, one a twin for 2 teenagers. The rooms were a great size. Clean, comfortable beds and excellent tea and coffee facilities. We had breakfast both mornings and the staff were warm, friendly attentive and very welcoming. The breakfasts were great. “Lovely room and clean, but windows are old sash windows and we felt uneasy opening them in the hot weather. The room had fans provided. The staff were really friendly and went above and beyond to help, especially leon the dep manager. The bar was nice and plenty of places to sit. The evening meal was really nice slso. Very enjoyable stay, snd would stay again.”

Jan and his colleagues were all helpful, friendly and enthusiastic throughout. Room was absolutely spotless, well appointed and comfortable. “The B&B is definitely the best in my experience. Bedroom as well as bathroom are very clean and tidy. The paper folders in bathroom is antique-wise. Also electrical equipments are convenient and cool. Coffee server and fridge are stylish. Lights are well designed. Breakfast is delicious and plenty. Graham’s homemade jams are excellent. “The pub is an old building, therefore there are things that cannot be changed, so if you are a light sleeper and cannot use ear plugs this may not be for you. It was not an issue for us. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, we had one evening meal there, breakfast was perfect, they were very accommodating by tweaking the menu to what you prefer. Very close to the caves and gorge, easy to access other attractions.”

“Good location for strolling around Langport with its cafes,independent shops , gardens and river walks . The library is very close with an outdoors area . We had a room in the courtyard , good in the heatwave . Sometimes had to park further away in town car park ..still free ,though in autumn 2026 may have to pay . Staff helpful .”

“A relatively new hotel with very comfortable room and bathroom. AC provision especially great during heat waves. The restaurant is excellent and the food is beautifully cooked and presented. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Area around the hotel is a bit rundown but with a car there are plenty of lovely places to visit in Somerset and Devon. Would recommend staying at this hotel.”

“We stayed for 2 nights in the family room which had a lovely comfortable king size bed, ensuite with large walk in shower and air con which was a God send. Very clean and quiet. The staff are lovely, food and drinks reasonably priced, breakfast choices good. The beer garden needs some attention but is secure if you have children or a dog. “Would have been nice to have our room cleaned , but maybe they do not work Sundays ? No room clean, towel change or bed made, not the end of the world, but at these prices 100% expected, doors all slam in the property asthere are no door weights to hold any doors, the web site made it look like you had your own hot tub, you do not at all, its shared with all other guests! No food on site after 4pm was a big let down, althouygh saying that breakfast was very good, and really the only thing that...
